This is the only unfortunate picture I have of the master bedroom before we moved in. The walls were white, the owner left some lovely curtains for us, and that's all the character we had in the room.
I painted the walls a really light gray color. I used Valspar paint from our local Ace. I hung our previous curtains up, they are my very favorite kind from Home Depot of all places. Our canvas picture hangs over our bed as a focal point, with my hubbys guitar on the wall. I like to keep decor really simple, especially in the master bedroom which is a calming relaxing place for us.
The bed my husband built us a few years ago and I LOVE it. That's saying something that in a few years I haven't re painted it or gotten rid of it and gotten a new one.
We have had that clock since the beginning of our marriage as well. The dresser was off the classfieds and painted in Repose Gray from Valspar. See that bucket on the dresser? Best thing EVER. Its my husbands junk bucket. I don't care whats in it as long as the junk isn't on the dresser.
Currently our nightstands don't match. I bought the yellow one at a barn sale and the brown one that's almost hidden was Travis' grandma's.
I really wanted to have the bathroom done by the time I posted the master bedroom but that aint happening this week. Because of the warm weather we have spent hours and hours in our yard this last week and my room reveal has to wait.
