This is our bathroom when we bought the house. It had linoleum floor peeling up in the doorway, white walls, and a gold framed mirror. It was pretty bland.
I painted it a light grey, called Silver Thistle Down from Home Depot. I've had the shower curtain for a few years now. This is the same flooring we have in our kitchen area, it's Restored Wood from Lifeproof Flooring. It hides EVERYTHING. It's LVP, Luxury Vinyl Planks, so it has no wood in it whatsoever. It's all plastic and therefore won't swell if water gets in. It's waterproof but we all know that that's not always reliable so I love that its actually plastic.
There was zero towel holder when we moved in, which was a problem on day one because there were wet towels laying around. I whipped up this trusty towel holder that cost me very little. The board is around $5 at Home Depot, it's the white pine. I don't stain it or finish it, or anything at all. It's a raw board. Then I measured out where to put my hooks that I bought on Amazon, and screwed them in. Ta da! I love the look of it, and it's way easier for my kids to put towels on hooks than on a rod.
This bathroom doesn't have a light so it was horribly hard to get a picture of this mirror because, well, I'm not a good enough photographer to know how to do that with the blaring light above. SO, this mirror had an adorable shape but it was gold. It didn't jive with my style so I took it outside and spray painted it a lovely shade of charcoal. It looks SO MUCH BETTER.

I have to post about this tooth brush holder too because it's changed my life. It is a wire basket so there is no way for mold to grow in a dark nasty container. It has four nice compartments for the kids toothbrushes and a place for the toothpaste. It was a win in this household.
Now I need to replace the countertops...
